DV+ vs everything else
There are other aftermarket products that look similar to a DV+, which can lead to confusion about what the DV+ is and how it compares.
DV+ vs “BOV Spacers”. A blow off valve spacer is not actually a valve. It is a single-piece spacer fitted underneath the factory diverter valve that directs vented air to the atmosphere for a blow off sound. However, it does not address any of the performance or reliability shortcomings of the factory diverter valve.
The DV+ is the opposite of a blow off valve spacer – it offers performance and reliability improvements over the factory diverter valve, but it does not make a blow off sound. GFB’s VTA and DVX range however do offer a blow off sound AND the same performance improvements of the DV+.
DV+ vs cheap counterfeits – whilst our patents should be enough to keep other manufacturers honest, this isn’t always the case – the DV+ looks simple, making it a tempting target for counterfeiting.
The reality is that simply copying the DV+ isn’t adequate. There’s more to making a DV+ reliable enough to earn its lifetime warranty than making it look the same. Insist on genuine GFB products for the best performance and protection for your ride!
DV+ vs other aftermarket diverter valves – the DV+ remains the fastest actuating, highest flowing, and most cost-effective electronic diverter valve solution on the market.
