The legacy T9366 DV+ has been and remains the workhorse of the DV+ family. By replacing the problematic valve mechanism of the factory electronic diverter whilst re-using the solenoid, this legacy DV+ design work brilliantly, keeping the cost low and the benefits high.

The new T9396 however features a low-profile integrated solenoid instead of re-using the OEM solenoid. This feature eliminates issues caused by cracked or aging OEM solenoid coils, whilst making installation easier at the same time!

Factory electronic diverter valves are binary in operation – they’re either open or shut. Your throttle, however, isn’t. When you make small throttle adjustments, the binary operation of the factory diverter results in abrupt changes in power delivery, which is the very definition of poor throttle response.

The DV+ patented “pilot actuation” system allows the piston to open and close progressively, thereby smoothing the power delivery during throttle modulation, and ultimately improving throttle response.
