World Time Attack Challenge Went All Out After A 2 Year Pause!!
This year the high-performance automotive industry experienced the most extravagant of all events at the Sydney Motorsport Park. With the newly added evening LED light that the Motorsport Park had recently installed, no one was going to miss any of the action across the two-day weekend in April.
WTAC22 aimed to stretch the development and technology of our turbocharged industry. Seeing the record-breaking lap times, it was evident that the extra hours spent in lockdowns across Australia had contributed to achieving this for the highly skilled competitors.
A mass of 15,000 excited fans entered the gates to experience the twice-postponed World Time Attack Challenge. GFB had a prime position and was ready to introduce the crowd of fascinated onlookers to our newly released WGA Internal Wastegate Actuator.
An unforgettable weekend on the tracks, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in the Haltech Clubsprint event, 3rd place in Pro Class, and 3rd place in GCG Open, all fitted with our GFB parts. What a euphoric feeling for all.
Until next year WTAC!
